Datatag ID, the market leading security, identification and recovery company are looking to expand our national network, “Tag Team”, of Police Liaison Officers.
We are looking for enthusiastic serving or retired police officers, with experience in vehicle examination and inspection, to be freelance self-employed team members. Working from home, you will travel to locations, to investigate stolen assets and re-identify the recovered machine for insurers and owners.
Main duties would include:
– Examination of vehicles and machinery, including plant, cars, motorcycles and watercraft
– Investigation, identification and re-instatement of a recovered asset
– Producing accurate written reports of findings
– Liaison with Police officers and law enforcement
– Liaison with insurers and loss adjusters
– Supporting Datatag’s Police Liaison team (PLT)
– Potential for visits to dealers, customers and auction houses
This exciting opportunity has arisen due to the expansion of the Police Liaison team of Datatag ID and involves travel to vehicle sites or customer locations to identify cloned and potentially stolen vehicles and plant that have been located by Police officers or by our PLT. You will be working within a very experienced team and would utilise our extensive database of asset registrations, available on a 24/7 hotline.
Successful applicants will be providing their services on a day rate basis.
