RSR are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Birmingham for a Housing Customer Service Officer.

This is a full time, temporary role initially for 3-6 months and offers a pay rate of £11.79.

Main Duties:

  • Acting as the point of all front of house and inbound contact and communication with the organisation, including reception and visitor liaison.
  • Provide an effective and efficient service to ensure a professional and responsive service to our customers and visitors.
  • Provide guidance, advice and where necessary signpost and assist our customers to resolve any queries, report any information, receive feedback and to take any other action required to provide a professional service and excellent customer care.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience of a customer facing role, delivering excellent customer service within a Housing Sector environment is desirable
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Confident speaking with people over the phone making outbound and taking inbound calls from tenants and 3rd party managing agents.
  • Able to work collaboratively and flexibly in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stay calm in difficult situations and influence positive outcomes

This role will be subject to a basic DBS check.
