Applications are invited from substantive Sergeants seeking transfer and substantive Constables who are appropriately qualified (including those in temporary and acting Sergeant Positions) from Home Office Forces.
Applications open on 2nd April 2024 and the closing date for applications is 23:59hrs 26th April 2024. Please allow sufficient time for first and second line management to complete their sections of the application form.
Shortlisting results will be communicated week commencing 29th April 2024 and if your application is successfully shortlisted you will be put through to the next stage of the process and you will be sent an email from your recruitment account.
Interviews are currently scheduled to take place between 13th to 24th May 2024.
Please note that applications and subsequent interviews will be based on the Competency and Values Framework (CVF).
Any candidate who is unsuccessful in this promotion process at either the application sift or interview, will be encouraged to commence a promotion development plan, identifying areas for improvement. Any unsuccessful candidates will not be eligible to apply for the next Sergeant promotion process. Therefore please ensure you have the required evidence prior to submitting your application.
