Location Hampshire Remuneration £27,204 to £29,859 per annum, plus additional shift allowance and weekend enhancement payments of around a further £4800 per annum View job JOU Operations Planner About the Role Key accountabilities include but are not limited to: To provide guidance, assistance and encouragement to police officers, police staff and event organisers who are undertaking the planning role for police operations or public events.  Provide support including planning, deployment, co-ordination, contingency management, finance, welfare and logistics and, when required, attendance in relation to critical and major incidents, operational support and contingency planning procedures.  Undertake the creation and review of designated Force Policy & Procedure and force guidance in line with Authorised Professional Practice (APP).  Support the JOU Contingency Planning Officers in the review, deployment, training and exercising relating to contingency planning: providing assistance across the JOU when required.  Review Force action plans making necessary amendments and liaising with partner agencies to seek the appropriate information.  Undertake the planning and delivery of force operations, spontaneous events and Mutual Aid in accordance with national guidance  If you have a knowledge of the police organisation and structure, Public Order and Public Safety processes and contingency planning this would be an advantage but full training will be given.
