*For roles based in London, your contractual place of work will be Stratford. While the Stratford site is expected to become operational from November 2025 – March 2026, you will be required to carry out your contractual duties from Vauxhall or another reasonable location on a temporary basis during the interim period.
Please note that, as Stratford will be your contractual place of work, any subsequent move from a temporary location will not entitle you to payments for travel time or costs under the Relocation and Excess Travel Policy.

Role Description
The JICC consists of approximately three hundred NCA officers and seconded police officers and police staff. The JICC leads, coordinates and supports the response of UK policing and wider law enforcement to international crime. It leads and coordinates lawful international cooperation through a 24/7 service that prioritises and responds to operational requirements of domestic and international partners. As a part of the JICC, you will provide an international cooperation service to front line policing and wider law enforcement, using all of the international capabilities within the NCA. You will build and maintain domestic and international relationships to deliver against operational objectives.
The JICC’s Analysis & Insight Team provide tactical and strategic support across all JICC capabilities in order to identify and prioritise risk and drive our operational response.
Every day in the JICC is different. You will be responsible for dealing with the response to a variety of threat areas, with links to national and international priorities. You will be working in a dynamic environment, prioritising and managing expectations of both UK and international partners, whilst delivering a quality service to meet customer needs. You will be required to maintain a flexible and innovative approach to your leadership, adapting to fluctuating demands and priorities. You will ensure that all activity is prioritised, aligned with strategic objectives, and complies with statutory provisions and relevant control strategies.
The JICC is still within its implementation phase and, as such, you will be required to work with colleagues internally and externally to identify and implement new, efficient ways of working, whilst embedding a positive culture across diverse teams.

Entry Requirements
This role is a closed competition and is only available to existing police officers and police staff who must work for a Police Force in England & Wales.
This is a secondment of 24 months with possibility of extension subject to mutual agreement and CS Commissioner’s approval.
