The National Crime Agency has begun a bid to hire investigation specialists and support staff across multiple UK locations.

The agency is looking to recruit to help meet three operational taskings agreed with the Home Office -  County Lines, firearms and online fraud.

Among the roles are digital media investigators, surveillance motorcyclists and financial analysts.

Locations include London, Birmingham, Sheffield, Bristol and Bridgend.

The agency is looking for 13 detective constables or equivalents to work as disclosure officers at multiple locations. Their salary is £30,000.

There’s also an opening for a Biometrics Senior Manager based in London to develop new capabilities with government, forces, industry and academia. The salary is £50,000.

Lyn Walton, Senior HR Manager at the National Crime Agency, said: “The National Crime Agency has recently launched the next phase of its long-term recruitment campaign, which aims to target potential candidates who are passionate in helping us tackle serious and organised crime.

“The recruitment drive will be taking place over the coming months advertising a range of roles from Investigations, Cyber Crime and Intelligence to vacancies within HR, Legal and Business Support.”

Some of the roles are focused on improving skills of other officers, such as in cyber security.

Like the rest of the Service, the agency is also using the recruitment drive to improve workforce diversity.
