Reviewing Officer required in Liverpool – Must have experience in investigations. Get in touch!


The main purpose of the role is for the Officer to review Niche based cases, add documents, update investigation logs and submit cases for charging decisions to the Crown Prosecution Service or Police Decision Makers.


Staff must have sufficient experience to recognise what evidence is required to bring an investigation to an appropriate conclusion via interview of suspects and witnesses, submission of forensic evidence, obtaining third party material for disclosure and review of telephone evidence.


Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Niche trained
  • Major Incident room experience
  • PIP 2 Investigator
  • Suspect interview trained
  • Investigative experience (including disclosure/statement taking/file preparation and finalisation)


Our client is the territorial police force responsible for policing Merseyside in North West England. The service area is 647 square kilometres with a population of around 1.5 million. The service has 4,494 police officers, 2,221 staff, 442 Police Community Support Officers and 420 Special Constables.


Pay Rate: £13.30ph

Hours: Full time 8.30am – 4.45pm

Working location: Liverpool

Duration: Three months contract with the possibility of extension


Immediate start once satisfactory vetting clearance received.
