This role will be supporting a Government Agency in the safe management of people along the South East Coast into secure facilities in-land.
A valid SIA DS or CP license is mandatory for this position.
Shift pattern – 6 on , 3 off – this shall include day and nights shifts
This position will operate out of the port of Dover and other locations as required (this would be Manston) Staff will work in teams of various numbers.
All training and uniform and PPE/ equipment required to carry out this role will be provided for free.
Free secure parking on site.
There is no accommodation for this assignment and so it is preferable that staff live within a 1 hour commute.
All rosters will be accessible online via the company workforce management App.
Applicants must be honest, confident, and socially aware individuals with a responsible attitude and must have the ability to assess situations and react quickly. They should be resilient, tenacious and be able to remain calm in what can sometimes be hostile and emotionally charged situations. Strong leadership, confidence and communication skills are important, with the ability to work alone or as part of a professional team dealing with demanding challenges.
Applicants must be in good physical and mental health.
Mandatory Induction/Assessment/Training – taking place in Dover, venue details will be issued upon successful interview. Staff will need to attend 4 days induction training. A training attendance supplement of £50 per day will be payable once you have completed 12 shifts.
An assessment for role suitability will take place throughout the first day of induction training.
Time and a half is paid for Bank Holidays.
