Role Purpose

The Red Snapper Group (RSG) is a market leading staffing services, media, events, and education services provider within the law enforcement, cyber security, offender supervision and regulatory services markets.  

We have a great opportunity available for Public Sector Account Manager to work in a multidisciplinary team alongside certified recruitment professional and subject matter experts from industry.

This is a candidate and employer-facing position across multiple of clients.  Tasks and responsibilities can vary; however, they are predominantly centred on the continued sourcing of candidates for open roles for live / active clients.  Once an instruction is received from the customer, you will start a recruitment search and produce a short list of suitable candidates to the customer.  You will be required to manage and a desk of placed agency workers and maintain service level agreements, KPIs and financial targets.

Responsibilities

Candidate Management

  • Meet and greet newly registered candidates – face to face and over the phone
  • Conduct face to face interviews with candidates for specific jobs
  • Candidate sourcing research – using open source research tools / LinkedIn
  • Manage contractors in post and supporting with redeployment where required
  • Respond and resolve contractual enquiries
  • Liaising with Contractors and dealing with issues

Client Management

  • Respond to new roles released from clients
  • Search the database matching candidates to available positions
  • Sending over CVs to the relevant client
  • Speculating CVs to clients – for roles that aren’t currently live in hope that we can bring on a role
  • Visiting clients to build and develop relationships
  • Developing a good understanding of the market, client companies, what they and their company values.

Compliance and Administration

  • Ad hoc administrative duties as requested, including MI reporting, contract administration and project specific tasks such as client liaison
  • Setting up the candidates placements on the database, inputting all the relevant information to the system and sending the candidates compliant documents
  • Process vetting material – Reference / Criminal Record Bureau / Security Clearance
  • Maintain and manage our extensive database by using audit tools to request updates from registered candidates
  • Recording all candidate notes on the database including qualification notes/any updates of the candidate

Business Development

  • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients
  • Generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling
  • Build good working relationships with hiring managers to ascertain recruitment pipeline

Service and Delivery

  • Be responsible for the posting of recruitment advertising – ad copy writing, response management
  • Arrange for targeted candidate pings to be sent out when new roles are released
  • Liaising with the Umbrella companies regarding the candidates Assignment Schedules  and updating them on candidates end dates
  • Maintaining consistent high levels of service to both candidates and clients on the phone or face to face
  • Reviewing recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes
  • Service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines
  • Reporting on contract SLAs including accounts reporting information to including client spend, purchase order numbers and projected billing amounts.

Qualifications

  • Degree educated or equivalent, ideally but not essential
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience within the recruitment sector
  • Proven track record of winning new business
  • Demonstrate success in a previous target environment
