The Chief Constable of Warwickshire Police is looking for an energetic and innovative individual to join his team of dedicated, committed professionals working in a diverse range of environments in the unique model of policing resulting from the alliance between West Mercia Police and Warwickshire Police.
The successful candidate will have a key role in commanding critical incidents and be pivotal in providing assurance to the Chief Constable on issues of service delivery, reputation, operational effectiveness and overall efficiency.
Applicants must be experienced Assistant Chief Constables with substantial knowledge of contemporary policing issues, proven experience of strategic performance management and an outstanding track record of delivering successful change for improved service to the public.
Applicants must have passed the Senior Police National Assessment Centre and successfully completed the Strategic Command Course.
The Deputy Chief Constable will be provided with a role-equipped vehicle available for official and private use, the cost of private use will be met by the individual.
