Women-only summer school opportunity for BTEC in Neighbourhood Nuisance and Anti-Social Behaviour Ca
Looking to boost your qualifications? Thinking of a new skills or change of career? The latest Summer School, via the Skills for Justice Women and Work Fund, could be just what you're looking for.
Safety Net Associates is offering 50 heavily subsidised places on the BTEC Level 5 Professional Award in Neighbourhood Nuisance and Anti-Social Behaviour Casework Supervision. This summer school will run on the weekend of 21st and 22nd August 2010 at the prestigious London School of Economics.
This course is designed for managers of caseworkers who work with communities to tackle anti-social and nuisance behaviour. It covers advanced information sharing, advanced tools and powers techniques, case management planning, working with community activists, MPs and Councillors, plus evidence-giving techniques in court.
The 50 bursaries available to organisations mean that each participant will only cost £57.50 +VAT (a 75% discount on the normal cost of £632.50). The all-inclusive bursary covers all qualification costs (two tutorial days, course materials, certification and lifetime membership to Student Zone), the cost of accommodation (if required) plus meals and refreshments throughout the weekend.
Hurry! Places are limited and are only available on a first come, first served basis so contact either btec@communitysafetyskills.co.uk or 0203 119 3335 and register today.

What students think
Feedback following a recent Restorative Justice course:
"The trainer's knowledge was absolutely exemplary, the course was excellent and I have learnt immensely from a strategic point of view. Consequently, I'm feeling inspired to be the Restorative Justice Advocate not just for my team but the whole authority."
Sheela Solanki, Blackpool Youth Offending Team
"I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to undertake a BTEC and found it very interesting networking with professionals from various organisations, understanding the roles and the way they're implementing Restorative Justice. I particularly enjoyed the fun based activities which helped me pick up and gather the knowledge required to complete this qualification."
Paula Murtha, Senior Residential Worker, Durham County Council
