Community Safety in Changing Times
The National Community Safety Network 15th Annual Conference
To be in held in Belfast on 15-17 June 2010. The theme for the 2010 event is “Community Safety in Changing Times”.
Northern Ireland has gone through a dramatic socio-economic change over the last ten years and has much to offer this conference with great learning opportunities for practitioners from all over the UK.
The NCSN's recent consultation with members has informed the structure and the content of the 2010 conference to the needs of the community safety practitioner. This conference will focus on practical issues; on making the difference at a grass roots level.
Overall this conference is different, it is a conference designed by practitioners for practitioners to facilitate the sharing of good practice. It will cover the following ground:

• Community Cohesion and Engagement
• Public Confidence and Ownership
• Violent Crime
• Anti-Social Behaviour
• Evaluation
• Youth Conferencing
• Domestic Abuse
• Crime & Disorder Reduction Partnerships, Local Criminal Justice Boards and the Criminal Justice System working together

• Race & Diversity
• Road Safety/KSI Reduction
• Award Winning Projects (e.g. Beacon and Tilley Award winners)
• Effective Integrated Partners
• Problem Solving
There will also be the latest industry trends and community safety solutions in the exhibition area.
